President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program (PPFP)

Postdoctoral research in various disciplines across the University of Michigan
Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree completed by July 1 of the fellowship year
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions or limitations. The program does not sponsor employment visas.

Submit an online application through the University of Michigan's PPFP portal.
Provide contact information for up to two U-M tenured/tenure-track faculty mentors and two references.
Ensure all materials are submitted by the application deadline.
Documents Required:
- Online application form
- Letters of support from faculty mentors and references
- Departmental letter of support from U-M department chair/director/dean

Funding Coverage:
- Annual salary of $65,000
- $10,000 for research and professional development
- Health insurance coverage for fellow and dependents
- Group life insurance
- Three weeks of sick leave
- One month (non-accrual) of vacation
Duration of Funding:
- Typically one year, with the possibility of renewal for a second year.
