Eligibility Criteria
- Postdoctoral research in various disciplines across the University of Michigan
- Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree completed by July 1 of the fellowship year
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions or limitations. The program does not sponsor employment visas.
Application Process
- Submit an online application through the University of Michigan's PPFP portal.
- Provide contact information for up to two U-M tenured/tenure-track faculty mentors and two references.
- Ensure all materials are submitted by the application deadline.

- Letters of support from faculty mentors and references
- Departmental letter of support from U-M department chair/director/dean
Scholarship Benefits
- Funding Coverage:
- Annual salary of $65,000
- $10,000 for research and professional development
- Health insurance coverage for fellow and dependents
- Group life insurance
- Three weeks of sick leave
- One month (non-accrual) of vacation
- Duration of Funding:
- Typically one year, with the possibility of renewal for a second year.
