Eligibility Criteria
- Open to all applicants for diploma and taught master's study at LSE, with the exception of specific modular or executive programmes.
- Demonstrated financial need; the scheme is means-tested and assesses applicants based on their financial circumstances.
- Applicants are expected to have secured or be in the process of securing other sources of funding, as GSS awards are intended to supplement existing funds.
- Eligible Programs:
- All diploma and taught master's programmes at LSE are eligible, except for:
- MSc Finance (Part-time)
- MSc Health Economics, Policy and Management
- MSc International Strategy and Diplomacy
- Double-degree students are eligible for the GSS during their time at LSE.

Application Process
- Submit an application for admission to a diploma or taught master's programme at LSE.
- Upon submission, access the Graduate Applicant Portal to track your application.
- Within the portal, complete the LSE Graduate Financial Support Application.
- Ensure all sections are accurately filled, including detailed financial information.
- Submit the application before the specified deadline.
- Documents Required:
- Completed LSE Graduate Financial Support Application.
- Detailed financial information, including secured or expected funding sources.
- Supporting documentation may be requested to verify financial information.
Scholarship Benefits
- Funding Coverage:
- The value of GSS awards ranges from £5,000 to £15,000, depending on the applicant's financial need.
- Awards are intended to supplement existing funding and may not cover the full cost of tuition or living expenses.
- Duration of Funding:
- Typically covers the duration of the diploma or master's programme, subject to satisfactory academic progress.
