Eligibility Criteria
- New undergraduate students from ASEAN countries (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam) and Hong Kong
- Preference given to students from Singapore and Hong Kong
- Must be admissible or fully admitted to the University of Oregon
- Cannot be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or eligible to receive U.S. federal financial assistance
- Must demonstrate financial need and meet the minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA requirement
Application Process
- Apply for admission to the University of Oregon
- Within 3 days of applying, obtain UO Student ID from the Admissions Status Portal
- Log into the UO Scholarship Dashboard using the Student ID
- Complete and submit the Profile and ISSS Endowed Scholarships Application
- Documents Required:
- Completed ISSS Endowed Scholarships Application
- Two reference letters
Scholarship Benefits
- Up to $10,000 awarded annually
- Renewable each year until graduation, provided the student meets the scholarship terms and conditions and submits an application each year
