Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a UK resident.
- Applying for their first undergraduate degree.
- Have a household income of £32,500 or less.
- Must have been resident in the UK for at least three years prior to the start of the course (excluding residence for educational purposes).
Application Process
- No separate application is required.
- Apply for an Oxford undergraduate course via UCAS.
- Ensure you are financially assessed by your regional funding agency and have given consent to share your financial information with the University.
- If eligible, you'll be contacted by the Crankstart team from September after your place is confirmed.
Scholarship Benefits
- Annual non-repayable bursary of up to £5,800–£6,300, depending on income.
- Up to £3,200 for internships during vacation periods.

- Funding continues for each year of your course.
