Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an EU national (non-UK) who has applied for a postgraduate taught (PGT) Master’s degree starting in September 2025 at the Edinburgh College of Art (ECA).
- Must hold an offer of admission (either conditional or unconditional) by the scholarship deadline.
- Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence and potential for postgraduate study.
Application Process
- Complete the standard admissions application for an eligible PGT programme.
- After receiving an offer, apply for the scholarship via the University’s online scholarship portal (MyEd): https://www.myed.ed.ac.uk
- Documents Required:
- Scholarship application form.
- Personal statement (approx. 500 words) describing:
- Reasons for applying.
- How the scholarship would support your goals.
- Academic and/or professional preparation for the programme.
- Admission offer confirmation.
Scholarship Benefits
- Funding Coverage:
- £5,000 tuition fee reduction.
- £5,000 tuition fee reduction.
- Duration of Funding:
- One academic year (for full-time students).
- For part-time students, the award is distributed over two years (£2,500 per year).
