Eligibility Criteria

  • Must have applied for admission to a postgraduate taught Masters or Masters by Research degree program within the School of Divinity, commencing in September 2025.​
  • Applicants must have, or expect to obtain, the equivalent of a UK first-class or 2:1 Honours degree at undergraduate level.​
  • Open to UK and overseas applicants wishing to study full-time, part-time, or via online distance learning programs.​
  • Students on programs longer than one year may apply but must be aware that this funding is for one year only; therefore, students are advised to budget accordingly.​

 

Application Process

  • Apply for your chosen Masters program at the University of Edinburgh.​
  • After applying for admission, submit the scholarship application via the University’s online scholarship application system (EUCLID)

 

  • Documents Required:
    • Completed scholarship application form.​
    • Academic transcripts and degree certificates.​
    • Personal statement highlighting academic achievements and commitment to the field of Divinity.​
    • References or letters of recommendation.​

Scholarship Benefits

  • Funding Coverage:
    • Scholarships covering full to half tuition fees, tenable for one academic year and automatically deducted from tuition fees.​
       
  • Duration of Funding:
    • One academic year.​
