Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an international student.
- Applied for but not yet commenced a bachelor's or master's by coursework degree that is a CRICOS-registered award program, usually delivered onshore at the University of Sydney.
- Received an unconditional offer of admission by the relevant close date.
Application Process
- No separate scholarship application is required. All eligible students who have secured an unconditional offer of admission by the specified dates will be automatically considered.
Scholarship Benefits
- Funding Coverage:
- Scholarships are offered at four levels based on academic merit:
- $40,000 payable for one year in two equal installments per semester.
- $20,000 payable for one semester.
- $10,000 payable for one semester.
- $5,000 payable for one semester.
- Duration of Funding:
- Depending on the scholarship amount:
- $40,000: Covers one academic year.
- $20,000, $10,000, and $5,000: Cover one semester.

- Recognition as a high-achieving international student.

- Selection Criteria:
- Scholarships are awarded based on academic merit, assessed from a student's application for admission.

- Recipients must complete the acceptance of their unconditional offer by the relevant deadline associated with their scholarship offer round and remain enrolled after the census date.
- Deferral or suspension of the scholarship is not permitted except in exceptional circumstances.
