Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an incoming freshman enrolling at UCLA for the Fall 2025 quarter.
- Open to California residents, out-of-state, international, and undocumented students.
- Demonstrated academic excellence and leadership potential.
Application Process
- Complete the general scholarship application for prospective students.
- Answer specific questions related to extracurricular activities, community service, honors and awards, and employment/internships/research.
- Respond to prompts about personal challenges, leadership experiences, and alignment with UCLA Alumni Regional Networks.
Scholarship Benefits
- Funding Coverage
- Annual award ranging from $1,500 to $5,000, renewable for up to four years ($6,000 to $20,000 total).
- Additional need-based grants up to $5,000 for the first year, subject to financial need assessment.
- Duration of Funding
- Up to four years, contingent on meeting renewal criteria.
- Up to four years, contingent on meeting renewal criteria.
- Extra Benefits:
- Membership in the Alumni Scholars Club (ASC).
- Access to leadership development programs and alumni mentoring.
- Networking opportunities with UCLA alumni.
