Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Admission to the Stevens Doctoral Program at Chicago Booth.
  • TOEFL iBT: Minimum overall score of 100.
  • IELTS Academic: Minimum overall score of 7, with at least 7 in each subsection.
  • GRE or GMAT scores as required by the specific dissertation area.​

Application Process

  • Choose a dissertation area and review specific requirements.
  • Prepare and submit an online application through the University of Chicago's application portal.
  • Submit all required documents, including test scores and letters of recommendation.
  • Await admission decision.​

    • Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
    • Standardized test scores (GRE or GMAT).

Scholarship Benefits

    • Full tuition waiver for five to six years of full-time study, conditional on satisfactory progress.
