Eligibility Criteria

  • International female students from developing countries
  • Entering a full-time graduate program (Master’s or PhD) at the University of Guelph in the upcoming academic year (summer, fall, or winter semester)
  • Demonstrated commitment to social change
  • Must be the recipient of the Nora Cebotarev Memorial Graduate Scholarship

Application Process

  • No separate application required
  • Recipients of the Nora Cebotarev Memorial Graduate Scholarship are automatically awarded the Ellen Nilsen Memorial Graduate Scholarship
     
  • Documents Required:
    • No additional documents required beyond those submitted for the Nora Cebotarev Memorial Graduate Scholarship

Scholarship Benefits

  • One-time award of CAD $1,500
  • Disbursed in the first registered semester

Additional Details

  • The scholarship is non-renewable
  • Under extenuating circumstances, the award may be deferred for up to one academic year with a deferred acceptance of entry to a University of Guelph graduate program
