Eligibility Criteria

Open to graduate students conducting dissertation research, independent scholars, and faculty members.
Applicants must reside outside a 100-mile radius from New Haven, Connecticut.
Projects must be related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer studies.
Applicants are not required to be affiliated with Yale University.

Prepare a brief research proposal detailing the project's focus and how Yale's resources will support the research.

Scholarship Benefits

Funding Coverage:
- $5,500 stipend to cover travel and living expenses during the one-month residency.
