Eligibility Criteria
- You must be applying to start a new full-time graduate course at Oxford.
- You must be either: ordinarily resident in the UK and from a Muslim community, or a national of, and ordinarily resident in, a Muslim-majority country.
- Candidates should intend to return to their home country upon completion of their studies.
- Demonstrated interest in the culture and civilisation of Islam.
Application Process
- Submit your application for your chosen course at Oxford by the January deadline.
- Upload the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies Scholarships Supporting Statement with your graduate application (available on the OCIS scholarship page).
- Ensure that all supporting documents are included and submitted by the course deadline.
- Documents Required:
- Completed graduate course application
- OCIS Supporting Statement
- Academic transcripts
- Personal statement or research proposal
- CV/resume
- References
- Proof of English proficiency (if applicable)
Scholarship Benefits
- Funding Coverage:
- 100% of University and college fees.
- A grant for living costs (minimum £18,622 in 2024–25).
