Open to applicants of all nationalities.
Candidates must be among the highest achievers in their undergraduate cohort, having obtained or predicted to obtain a first-class UK degree or equivalent.
Candidates with a standalone Master's qualification must have achieved a distinction or provide evidence of high performance leading to distinction.
For candidates with multiple standalone Master's qualifications, at least one must meet the distinction criterion.
Applicants with degrees from non-UK institutions should determine the relevant equivalency.
Current registered Imperial PhD students are not eligible to be considered for a President's PhD Scholarship.

Identify and secure the agreement of a supervisor in an academic department at Imperial College London who has agreed to supervise your research project.
Submit your application for admission through the online admissions system and select the President's PhD Scholarship option in the funding section.
Ensure all required documents are submitted as part of your application.

Documents Required:
- Academic transcripts.
- Personal statement outlining your research interest and experience.
- English language certificate if applicable.
- Contact details of two referees, at least one of whom must be an academic referee.

Funding Coverage:
- Full coverage of tuition fees.
- A stipend for living costs.
- A consumables fund for the first three years of study.
Duration of Funding:
- Up to 3.5 years.
