Eligibility Criteria
- Singapore citizen or Singapore permanent resident.
- Full-time undergraduate student in their second year at either: Department of Chinese Studies, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), or NUS Business School.
- Cumulative Average Point (CAP) of at least 4.0 out of 5.0 at the point of selection and for subsequent academic years to maintain the scholarship.
Application Process
- Each successful candidate will be required to write an essay of 5,000 words in each year of the scholarship award.
- The topic of such essay for each candidate will be assigned by their respective school or department as the case may be, in consultation with the Donor.
- Each of these candidates will be expected to complete his/her essay within one month after being briefed on the essay topic.
Scholarship Benefits
- Funding Coverage:
- Covers costs related to the undergraduate course, including: Tuition fees., Living allowance, Accommodation fees, Student exchange programme fees, NUS Overseas College programme fees.
- Duration of Funding:
- Awarded in the second year and tenable for the remaining duration of the undergraduate course, subject to continued eligibility.
- Extra Benefits:
- Recipients are encouraged to attend an award presentation ceremony organized by the donor.
