Eligibility Criteria

Scholarship Benefits

  • Funding Coverage
    • Departmental fellowships for MSW students range between $2,500 and $7,500, with an average award amount of approximately $4,600. ​
    • PhD students typically receive a competitive funding package that includes payment of tuition and fees (including student health insurance) and an annual living expense allowance, estimated at $28,000 per academic year. ​
    • MSW fellowships are generally awarded for one academic year, with the possibility of renewal based on availability of funds and student eligibility.​
       
  • Duration of Funding
    • PhD funding packages usually cover three years of departmental support, with the potential for an additional year of support from the Graduate Division Doctoral Completion Fellowship upon eligibility. ​
