Eligibility Criteria

  • Female applicants from Africa​
  • Hold or expect to obtain a UK first-class or 2.1 Honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field​
  • Accepted into the full-time MSc in Africa and International Development programme or directly into a PhD in African Studies
  • Demonstrated commitment to contributing to the development of Africa

Application Process

  • Apply for the MSc in Africa and International Development programme or the PhD in African Studies at the University of Edinburgh​
  • Submit the scholarship application by the specified deadline​
  • Provide all required supporting documents
     
  • Documents Required:
    • Completed scholarship application form​
    • Academic transcripts and certificates​
    • Personal statement outlining academic interests and career goals​
    • Two academic references​
    • Proof of African citizenship
