Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a current or newly admitted full-time graduate or professional student at UC Berkeley for the 2025–2026 academic year.​
  • Must be in good academic standing.​
  • Must reside in the Bay Area during the fellowship period.​
  • Able to commit approximately 5 hours per week (about 20 hours per month) to fellowship activities.​
  • Applicants cannot be on Filing Fee status during the fellowship period.​
  • Undocumented students are eligible to apply; no work authorization is required.

Scholarship Benefits

  • Funding Coverage
    • A stipend of $7,500 per academic year, disbursed at the start of each semester.​
       
  • Duration of Funding
    • Covers the full academic year (Fall 2025 and Spring 2026).​
