PhD Fellowship Support – Computational Neuroscience

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or its equivalent by the time of enrollment.
Demonstrated academic excellence and research potential.
Commitment to full-time study and research.
Satisfactory progress in the PhD program, including completion of all program requirements.

Submit applications through the PhD Program in Computational Neuroscience admissions website.
Documents Required:
- Completed application form.
- Statement of purpose.
- Writing sample.
- Letters of recommendation.
- Transcripts.
- GRE scores (if required).
- TOEFL or IELTS scores (for non-native English speakers).

Funding Coverage:
- Full tuition coverage.
- Annual stipend maintained at a level affording a reasonable local standard of living, competitive with awards offered at comparable institutions, and periodically adjusted in response to cost-of-living increases.
- Fully paid individual annual premiums for UChicago's student health insurance (U-SHIP).
- Graduate student services fee.
Duration of Funding
- Guaranteed through the student's first five years of study, conditional on satisfactory degree progress, and extended to completion of the degree in all but the most unusual of circumstances.
