Clinical Placement Grant

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a full-time student at Radboud University.
- Clinical placement must last at least 4 consecutive weeks.
- Must have approval from the Faculty of Medical Sciences.
- Must earn course credits during the placement.
- Must not have previously received an Individual Travel Grant for an extended stay, a grant for a clinical placement, or a Holland Scholarship grant during the current study period.
- Must depart more than 2 weeks after the application date.
- Must incur additional expenses such as travel, accommodation, visa fees, or vaccinations.
Application Process
- Start your application for a stay abroad through your OSIRIS account. Your faculty’s International Office must provisionally approve your application.
- After approval, you will receive an email with further instructions for the grant application, including a link to a web form.
- Complete the web form fully and submit it.
- Within one working day after submitting the web form, you will receive an email containing the Grant Agreement and the Letter of Approval. Submit the following documents to studentexchange@ru.nl no later than two weeks before your exchange is due to start.

- Signed Grant Agreement
- Signed Letter of Approval from your study advisor or the International Office of RadboudUMCRadboud University
Scholarship Benefits
- Funding Coverage:
- €150 per 4 weeks for placements within Europe (maximum €450 for 12 weeks)
- €200 per 4 weeks for placements outside Europe (maximum €600 for 12 weeks)
- Upon provisional award, 75% of the total amount will be transferred to your bank account within approximately 4 weeks.
- The remaining amount will be transferred after your stay abroad has ended, upon submission of the final documents and meeting all conditions
