1
Industrial Business project: Low cost Oxygen Generators - Business Industrial Project
Analysis of pre-existing models of oxygen generators available in market and design of basic model of portable oxygen generator and market scenario formulation. Simulation model of supply chain management and production procedure for development of low cost portable oxygen generators in Indian market scenario.

Valorization of Thermoplastics to Bio-fuel through Pyrolysis
Mentor- Dr. Anand Gupta Chakinala
This paper proposes a method to utilize waste plastic and convert it into usable and renewable biofuel. We will be using a blast furnace present in the Chemical Reaction Engineering lab. We will be feeding it with waste plastic. This plastic will undergo pyrolysis. Pyrolysis is decomposition of waste plastic, without the presence of oxygen caused by high temperatures. This will produce plastic vapors that will enter a catalytic cracking chamber, implemented using a quartz glass assembly with a locally produced catalyst. The vapor is them transferred into a condenser, where it is condensed to give us biofuel

A Project on ECO-CHULLAH in collaboration with EcoSense and Manipal University Jaipur - Research ProjectEcoSense and Manipal University Jaipur
Mentor- Dr. Abhishek Sharma.
In this study we have done a preliminary literature survey related to conventional and eco-chullah. Initial testing of the Eco-chullah that was provided by Ecosense Pvt Ltd., was done in the lab to find out the efficiency of the chullah. Demonstration of the eco-chullah was done at the villages and at the hostel.
4
Minor Project report on Bio-ethanol from Biomass - Research Project
Mentor – Dr. Anees Y. Khan
In this project, base research on the biomass to bioethanol process was done and understanding ofthe literature and the current knowledge on the topic. Following this, we performed a case study based on the published research paper ‘Detailed material balance and ethanol yields calculations for the Biomass-to-Ethanol Conversion process’ by Christos Hatzis, Cynthia Ruley and George P. Phillippidis. we performed material balance and component balance calculations to eventually obtain the carbon recovery and ethanol yield from the process. We analyzed the results and presented the findings in this report.

Project on improvement in the existing powder coating and paint finishing plant, under the guidance of Mr. Dushyant Kaushik, GM Production. This project focused on implementing quality control in powder coating on metallic materials. The methodology undertaken was a brief introduction to powder coating, quality control, standards followed, appearance and the physical parameters to be checked, challenges faced and different ways by which we can overcome them. Guided recommendations and way forward was also given to put this idea forward.

Project on grinding time reduction under the guidance of Mr. Mohit Misra, Executive Production Engineering. I studied the constituents of paint and the paint manufacturing process of heavy duty paints and automotive paints, learned about of different types of grinding techniques such as ball mill, dyno-mill. I also studied the thinning process and various quality tests- (viscosity, Hegman Gauge, electrical resistance etc.). I did residue analysis and the effects on the paints such as cratering, cissing and cracking and also studied about the grinding and importance of grinding time reduction.
