T-Gen: An Exhaust Powered Turbo GeneratorAligarh Muslim University
The existing Turbochargers don’t have the capability to generate Electrical Power alongside performing forced-induction of compressed air into the Combustion Chamber, allowing a huge chunk of energy to go untapped and hence wasted. T- Gen is one step ahead, as it can additionally produce around 2 kW of Electrical Power on an average, alongside turbocharging the Diesel Engine and improving its efficiency, all that without using extra fuel. Moreover, along with being environmentally feasible, T-Gen is economically viable too, as it has a minimal production cost. Hence, we envision this product as instrumental in providing the IC Engines a fighting chance against the fundamentally greener EVs, for IC Engine Enthusiasts like us.

CFD Analysis of Flow in OrificemeterElite Techno Groups
Performed a CFD Analysis on Flow in Orificemeter on Ansys Fluent. The pressure drop across the orifice was recorded and compared with theoretical results. The no of mesh elements were varied to understand the impact on accuracy. It was assumed as a Viscous (laminar) flow under the K Epsilon Model. No slip condition was assumed.

Drone Design for Sanitization Purposes | Best Design Project 2021-22Aligarh Muslim University
Coronavirus outbreak has had a major impact on health, economy, and daily life for people around the world. The current solution proposed by public health care officials is to frequently sanitize one's self and surroundings. Since sanitizing manually is a tedious & dangerous task, an aerodynamic drone design solution was proposed, and successfully designed to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, by effective sanitization of public spaces. Static Stress Simulations were conducted to assess the structural integrity & load-carrying capacity. CFD Simulations were conducted to assess the airflow and to optimize for minimum drag & maximum performance. A 1:2 scale prototype was 3D printed in PLA to be tested in the wind tunnel for further design validation. An aerodynamic container with assembly mounts was also designed to carry 660 mL of sanitizer liquid. With a theoretical drag factor of 0.36 and an experimental drag factor of 0.42, the proposed design was determined to be quite aerodynamic. The apparent error was caused by the rough surface texture of the 3D printed prototype, implying that the final drone will be even more aerodynamic than the current prototype. The final design was found to be lightweight, structurally sound, aerodynamic & aesthetically pleasing.
