Work History
August 2024April 2024(4M) | Philips, Drachten R&D Intern Topic: Investigation of printing techniques for colored safety symbols and their interaction with disinfectants. Chemistry of printing inks were studied and the four most ideal processes were outlined using discussions with experts within and outside the organization. A new testing methodology and apparatus was designed and costs were calculated for the purpose of automating the testing the lifetimes of the different prints when exposed to routine cleaning and disinfection using readymade wipes in healthcare environments. Additionally, tests were also done using two generic disinfectants to analyse the evaporation patterns and side reactions during the course of the main lifetime test. | |

Process Engineer Trainee, then Process Engineer Worked on a diverse range of daily problem-solving, PFDs/P&IDs, documentation and analyses of plant data, HAZOP audits, and literature surveys, in a benzene-based-chemicals manufacturing plant. As part of the trainee project, complete mass and energy balances of the 500-1000 ton/month methylethylaniline plant were carried out. |
