Projects/Thesis

1
Resilience in BiomimicryKRVIA
My undergraduate thesis, “Resilience and Biomimicry,” addressed flooding in Mumbai’s Kandivali region by drawing inspiration from the city’s natural ecosystems rather than relying solely on technology. The project explored how nature’s adaptive strategies could be structured into a scalable urban framework, working with rather than against the environment. The building design incorporated a thin concrete membrane, while the landscape used a five-layer system to regulate water flow, both inspired by biomimetic principles. By integrating nature-based solutions, the thesis proposed a resilient, adaptive approach to urban flooding.

Extra-curricular Activities

01 Exchange Program
I participated in the 7PAAU (Asian Architecture and Urbanism) 2019 exchange program in Malaysia, focusing on documenting social and heritage spaces and their relevance in modern cities. The program explored how traditional spaces shape urban life and how their principles can be adapted to contemporary urbanism, offering valuable insights into preserving cultural identity within evolving cityscapes.
02 Managed and hosted talk shows
I was invited by UTAR (University of Tunku Abdul Rahman) to host the talk show BINA in 2020 and 2021, where I engaged in discussions with renowned architects on various architectural designs and their future potential.
