Projects/Thesis

1
Masters thesis:TU Hamburg
Optimization of liquid-liquid extraction processes considering fluid dynamics.
•	Expanded the rigorous equilibrium-based optimization model for a hybrid extraction-distillation process by incorporating fluid dynamics.
•	Process improvement and optimization, added an additional design degree of freedom as temperature.
•	Total annualized cost reduction by 20%, energy demand reduction by 10%.
•	Data analysis using various statistical tools in MATLAB like, corrected akaike information criteria (AICc).
