I did literature review on this topic during my bachelors. Levulinic acid is a valuable platform chemical, which can be used as a preservative in a pharma and cosmetics. The add on advantage of this product is, this can be produced from biomass. Currently, production of this chemical from biomass is in a research phase. But if it would be available commercially in future, Levulinic Acid, can be a good substitute of conventional chemicals in number of industries i.e., Pharma, Cosmetics, Polymers, Petrochemicals,etc.

Designed a detailed project on Acetone Production involved process selection, flow diagrams, heat and material balances, equipment designs, cost estimations, and plant layout and obtained ROI about 11%

Conducted seminars of industry experts for students of 3rd and 4th year of Chemical Engineering
department in the MSU Baroda.
Arranged 2 industrial visits in suburb of the Baroda region in distillation unit as well as in equipment
manufacturing unit. Developed leadership skills.

Arranged a 3 day event on campus for specially abled people, it includes differently abled games, concerts, motivational sessions, etc. It is Asia's largest differently abled event hosted by students of MSU Baroda.
